Most adults have sent and received invitations of some kind many times over the years. Some had to do with their children, such as birthday parties, and some had to do with their adult friends and/or family members, such as weddings, or New Year’s party invitations. And while the nature of the parties changes some as we grow older, we continue to have occasions when we are sending or receiving invitations to something, and probably always will. If you’re over about age fifty it is very likely that most of the invitations (if not all of them), that you have sent or received came from a local store. If you’re under about age thirty it is very likely that all of your invitations, both sent and received, came from the Internet. While there are always exceptions, most younger people are more up to date on the use of technology, or at least are familiar with what’s available when needs arise.
