Baby Girl’s First Birthday: Having The Celebration

If you’re like most parents, you probably can’t believe that she’s already a year old, or about to be. Next thing you know she’ll be starting school, and then the years really start flying by. They grow up way too fast. But let’s not get too far ahead of ourselves here. For now, your baby girl’s first birthday is coming up, and you know you want to have a party. It’s just a matter of deciding whether you’re going to have it be strictly a family affair (including all grandparents of course), or invite others too, such as your closest friends, which means other children as well.

Why don’t you go ahead and invite everyone you know. That’s what your little girl would want. In fact, she’s probably thinking it, but just doesn’t know how to put it into words quite yet. But she’s getting there. Before long you’ll be wondering how in the world she learned how to talk so quickly. It seems that once they start, it comes on fast. One day it’s mommy and daddy, the next day it’s “can I borrow the car to go see Sally?” You’re left sitting there with a puzzled look on your face trying to figure out how that happened, and then all of a sudden you’re walking her down the aisle.
