First Birthday Invitations And When To Send Them

First Birthday Invitations And When To Send Them

By Isabella Aldun

Everyone survived the first year (which was quite interesting and entertaining), so now it's time to celebrate by having a birthday party, your baby's first. You know you want to send out first birthday invitations for your party, but that's about as far as your plans have gotten. With the date arriving soon, you need to get the invitations handled and figure out exactly what you want to do. While it doesn't much matter what the specifics are, everyone's going to have a good time regardless, you know it's a once-in-a-lifetime event and you want it to be as special and memorable an occasion as it can possibly be. Your baby won't remember it, but you sure want everyone else to.

It all starts with the invitations. Good ones set the tone of the party (even for a baby's party), and they become a keepsake. You want your baby's first birthday invitations to be more than just good. You want them to be fabulous, capturing the attention of everyone you send them to, and getting them all excited about this special day. You used to dream about having a baby. Now it's time for their first birthday, and it seems like the dream was just last night.

Birthday Invitations For Baby Boy's Personalized

It seems like he was just born a few weeks ago, then you had his first birthday, and now another year has passed. You (along with every other parent in the world), can't help but wonder how that's possible. Time didn't go that fast before he was born. Why now? It's just one of life's mysteries, but it's true. So now you want to order some baby boy birthday invitations because it's another joyous milestone in your little prince's life.

Yesterday you were changing his diapers. Today he's into boats, cars, trucks, and planes. It's hard to keep up with him, but you've got to try. So you're ready to order his birthday invitations and you were thinking about a theme. Should you go with cars, or maybe trucks? The good news is that on his birthday it usually doesn't matter. He will be so preoccupied with the other children and guests (particularly grandpas and grandmas), that party themes and gifts won't keep his attention for long anyway.

Baby Boy’s First Birthday – How To Make Them Fun

This is a party that everyone will remember for many years to come, except the birthday boy. If you don’t believe me, just ask him about it when he starts talking, which will be soon after his first birthday. How the memory works is a strange thing. You have practically no recollection of anything up to about age 5-7. After that you remember a few incidents that happened over the years up to about age 10-12, and then from that point on most people are able to recall events when someone draws it out of them.

So for your boy’s first birthday, it’s mostly about a fun time for him, but the memories will be for you and the grandparents for the rest of your lives. It’s kind of like his first Christmas and you want a picture of him sitting in Santa’s lap. He won’t recall it, but you’ll love it. Actually, he probably won’t even like it, and may even throw a fit about it. And you can understand why if you think about it. As far as he’s concerned he hasn’t done anything wrong, but then all of a sudden you put him in the lap of a total stranger. Not only that, he’s dressed weird, he’s fat, needs a haircut and a shave, and he’s smiling like he thinks it’s just fine. But you got your Santa picture, so you’re happy. This is one of those occasions where having no memory is a good thing, or he might hold it against you for doing that to him.

Baby Girl’s First Birthday: Having The Celebration

If you’re like most parents, you probably can’t believe that she’s already a year old, or about to be. Next thing you know she’ll be starting school, and then the years really start flying by. They grow up way too fast. But let’s not get too far ahead of ourselves here. For now, your baby girl’s first birthday is coming up, and you know you want to have a party. It’s just a matter of deciding whether you’re going to have it be strictly a family affair (including all grandparents of course), or invite others too, such as your closest friends, which means other children as well.

Why don’t you go ahead and invite everyone you know. That’s what your little girl would want. In fact, she’s probably thinking it, but just doesn’t know how to put it into words quite yet. But she’s getting there. Before long you’ll be wondering how in the world she learned how to talk so quickly. It seems that once they start, it comes on fast. One day it’s mommy and daddy, the next day it’s “can I borrow the car to go see Sally?” You’re left sitting there with a puzzled look on your face trying to figure out how that happened, and then all of a sudden you’re walking her down the aisle.

How To Create Girl Birth Announcements

Whether it's your first baby or the latest of several, the excitement never grows old or diminishes in the least. You've got a newborn baby girl now and everyone's healthy, so life is good. In fact, it really doesn't get much better than this. Baby girls are so cuddly, adorable, and precious that no one can resist a second look when they see you out, and they will jump at any chance to hold them, even if it's just for a moment or two.

Although your family and closest friends who live nearby have seen her, you want to share your excitement with everyone, and you have several family members and friends who live in other states. Maybe you've never sent out birth announcements before, so you may not be sure of the best way to go about it. While most any local card store could accommodate you in some fashion, if you want to make it the best it can be, you really need to go online.

With local stores you have some limitations, whereas online you don't. You're in complete control and therefore much more likely to get exactly what you want.

With a few of your baby girl's pictures transferred to your computer, all you have to do is find a good Internet based company with a lot of well designed cards to choose from, along with a good web site interface to help you with your selections. It's easy to do, done from the comfort and convenience of your home, doesn't take long, you get exactly what you want, and you'll find it very affordable.

Baby Birthday Invitations: Creating Unique Displays

Baby birthday invitations can be picked up at most any local card store in your area, and most of them are pretty nice, some are really well designed. However, it’s extremely rare to find cards of any kind that are a perfect fit. There is always something you would change in the graphics or message, if you could. You could drive all over town, but the chances are pretty slim that you will find precisely what you’re looking for.

The only place I’ve ever heard of anyone buying cards that they honestly thought were absolutely perfect was on the the Internet. It isn’t so much that the cards are terribly different in their original state. It’s just that you have control in selecting every single aspect of the cards. So if you want unique baby invitations, you must be in total control of every design element that goes into your invitations, from the card stock and colors to the exact message you want to convey. You simply cannot accomplish that with any store bought cards.

When searching for an Internet based company to order your birthday invitations from, look for a web site that has the latest technology to assist you, as well as the most unique card designs. They should also have a simple to use 3-step interface to walk you through the design of your cards. Just logon to the site and follow the steps.

Tips on Baby's First Year Photo Book

here are probably more pictures taken the first year of a baby's life than most adults have taken over a 20-30 year period, literally. While there are some exceptions, the fact is that first year is really very photo worthy, particularly from about 6-12 months as they get a lot more active. It seems like everything they do is cute, at least to the parents and grandparents, so you just snap away.

Assuming there is still some time left in your baby's first year, if you don't already have certain pictures taken, you may want to plan to get some shots of the following. Also be sure to note any captions that you may want to add to some of these in the photo book.

1. All grandparents and baby, at least a couple of pictures of each. 2. If there are any siblings, take a few pictures of your baby being held by them. 3. A few of them crawling. 4. A few of them eating, usually with their hands instead of utensils. 5. First year birthday party, include all family members present. 6. Some of their first Christmas. 7. Some of them being baptized, if appropriate.
